About opportunity
PharmaBoardroom is a global healthcare and life sciences media and research platform working with senior executives across pharma, biotech, medtech, healthcare providers and investors in Asia, Europe and the US.
We are looking for a part-time Business Development & Editorial Assistant to support our commercial outreach and editorial activities across the Asian region.
This role is fully remote (with optional hybrid flexibility depending on location) and is ideal for internationally minded students or young professionals interested in healthcare, biotech, global markets and strategic communications.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Outreach
- Cold outreach via email and LinkedIn
- Professional calling and direct outreach to company executives and representatives (must be comfortable to cold call)
- Lead generation and structured prospect research
- Identifying senior decision-makers across pharma, biotech, medtech and healthcare
- Following up with executives, communications and marketing teams
- Supporting relationship building across Asian healthcare markets
Editorial & Content Support
- Transcribing executive interviews (English)
- Drafting professional follow-up emails and business communications
- Supporting interview preparation and background research
- Assisting with editorial writing, summaries and briefing notes
- Conducting market and company research
Ideal Profile
- Strong written and spoken English
- Confident speaking with senior professionals over the phone
- Comfortable with outreach, follow-ups and business conversations
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Interest in healthcare, biotech, business, media or international affairs
- Organised, proactive and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience in sales, communications, journalism, consulting, student leadership or healthcare/life sciences internships is a plus, but not required.
