Your mentor – Elzė van der Hart, Founder of NOORD LOOM
Your main mentor will be Elzė van der Hart, founder of NOORD LOOM and an ISM University of Management and Economics alumna (2009).
After completing her Master’s degree studies in International Business Management, Elzė built an international career in the fashion industry, spending 14 years living and working in Amsterdam.
She began her career at Tommy Hilfiger in 2012 as an International Markets Associate and progressed into roles spanning international fashion business, project management, material innovation and sustainable product development.
Working with global fashion brands, she gained experience across international business operations, product development and innovation, collaborating with global material innovators, suppliers and cross-functional teams to explore and develop future textile and product solutions aligned with the needs of a major international fashion business.
Her experience combines commercial understanding, international stakeholder management, project leadership, strategic thinking and a deep knowledge of fashion, materials and production.
After 14 years in Amsterdam, Elzė returned to Vilnius with her family and her business start-up NOORD LOOM. Today, she is building an independent creative business that brings together her experience in global fashion, textile innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship.
For an intern, this means learning directly from someone who has experienced both sides of business: working within an international fashion organisation and building a new business from the ground up.
You will have the opportunity to learn from real business decisions, ongoing projects, challenges and opportunities – not just textbook examples.
